1995 Dodge Neon car bangs into gear.

Hello, I just purchased a 1995 plymouth neon. It has a manual transmission but when I put it in gear and let the clutch out it kinda bangs into gear. No matter what I do there is no sweet spot to feather the clutch and gas pedal to keep it from doing this. The owner said he put a new clutch in so it grabs real quick, could this be all it is?

I had the same problem with my 99 neon! I was so worried about my transmission, but it turned out I just needed a new front engine mount!
