I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid with the bad 2.7 L engine, I still owe 3,700 on this car. Should I trade it in. And owe more money on another car, or just fix the car because it is still under warranty untill march of 2007. Im so confused. I dont want to be in debt, but I hear nothing but bad things about this car.

If your car is under warrenty, then the engine is covered. If the dealership your taking it to is trying to get you to tade and not fix or replace (what is the worse engine they ever offered) call chrysler and give that dealership hell, because as I said, the motor is under warrenty.

Chrysler said that there is an internal engine problem and it would cost 3,500 for a new motor. They told me that the warranty wont cover this, because as ive read with other people they blame it on the owners for not getting oil changes even though I do.

Dealership cant blame the customer unless they can prove you have been neglectful to the vehicle, all I have to say is always keep receipts on anything you ever do to your vehicle(s) that way you have proof. As far as your car no point in trading it in a losing more money try to sell it yourself or get it fixed under warranty.
