Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.

Hi
I have had the same problem here in Canada,Ontario while traveling. Car warms up to operating temp and light came on.
I did check oil..good. Took car directly to dealer since my tools were at home. Dealership Mechanic did check oil pressure with a gauge and pressure good. They changed oil pressure switch and test drive..ok and release back to me. About 15km on way home which was 300km to get home the oil pressure light came back on. Back to dealership and Mechanic scratch his head and had to do in depth search on there bulletins, took awhile but they told me the problem and the fix for my problem was.
The wire for the sending unit was to short and was to close to the exhaust and would heatup producing the light. They lenghtened it and rerouted it and no problems. Car first had problem at guess 70,000km and car has 135,000km.
Check oil pressure first.
