Car dies sometimes after coming to stop and starts up with no problems. Usually after driving on the interstate and once to the stop at the off ramp. To make a quick drive to the store or something in town is never a problem. Is this the fuel filter and if so do I need a special tool to replace it and (sorry) but is it easy to locate?

If you can, do a diagnostic check of the engine. Your problem could be an egr valve, map sensor or idle air control system, also. Do a diagnostic and let me know the codes that come up, I have all the codes.

Thanks guys for the replies.

Would this OBD II PocketScan for 69.95 (thats advertised on this site) do the trick for the diagnostic check? Sounds like a decent $70 investment to have at my side since this is not my field of work.
