When I start my car it runs fine, but when it warms up and I go on the freeway at 55 it starts to sputter and I have to rev up the engine in nutruel. It also dies out on me from time to time and the idle goes up by itself? Can you tell me if its the cam shaft sensor and where is it located? What could be wrong?

It could be thecam sensor, or maybe the crank sensor. Has the check engine light ever come on when it is doing this? If so have the PCM (computer) scanned for any stored codes that may lead to the fix.

Yes but I had it checked and they say its one or the other. I replaced the crank shaft sensor and it does the same thing still.
