2000 Dodge Intrepid Limit on RPM

Was driving my Intrepid today and I noticed I can go higher than @4500 RPM. Engine seems to be running fine but with my high mileage I assume something is going on. Thing has run like a champ since I bought it new.

Any advice most appreciated.
