Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I ran out of gas and I didnt know until the next morning when I tried to start the car. I put gas in it, but pumped the gas a few times and the car sill would not start. AAA came and said the engine was flooded, They said to let the car sit and try starting it later. I did, but with no luck. It is now almost 24 hours latter and it still wont start. Also the car is on a slight incline forward, does it have to be level? What should I do now.

If the car is just on a slight incline try putting another gallon in. Turn the key on and try to start it, don't touch the gas pedal. If it still won't start call AAA and tell them what happened since their last visit. They will take a look at it and tow it in to your shop for service. It may be something else or a fuel pump failure. Thats what I would do. I mean that's what I think would be the best thing. Or just call them and tell them it still hasn't started. Ok.
