1998 Dodge Intrepid Engine Fail to start

I was driving home from work on 70mph. And all of a sudden the engine completely stop. I try to restart but it won't. So I tow it home and friend of mine told me that the computer is not working. So we buy a new one and it won't work. After one week I try to restart but the starter won't work but before you can hear the starter is rotating or what but now only the lights can work when you turn the key on.
