1. Rent inner tie rod removal kit from an auto part store. It is free, you just pay for the deposit. Also make an appointment with an alignment shop.
2. Raise the vehicle and remove the tire.
3. Remove the nut on the tie rod end.
4. Use two different wrenches, remove the nut attaching both inner and outer tie rods. While turning, count how many full rotations you need to completely separate the two pieces.
5. Follow the instruction on the kit. Attach the kit to the inner tie rod end, and remove. Also count the full rotations.

1. Attach the new inner tie rod into the kit and put the tie rod into the steering rack. Count the same amount of rotations of your removal.
2. Attach the outer tie rod into the inner. Count the same amount of removal rotation. Use the nut to tighten the two pieces together.
3. Attached the outer rod inter the steering knuckle, and secure the end nut.
4. Lower the vehicle, and drive it slowly to your appointment at the alignment shop.
