Transmission issue

It will not stay idling when I let go the gas petal and the transmission keeps jumping and the gauges do not work when it is started.

It may be a bad gauge panel, but clean battery terminal ends and get battery checked for condition including load test then clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner.
