1991 Dodge Dynasty intermidiate vehicle running
Engine Performance problem
1991 Dodge Dynasty 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 166000 miles
car will apparently run till it gets warm, then die--wait 5 minutes and you can start up and drive a mile or 2 ,then it dies again---repeatedly. this happened with no early warning signs. I had someone check it out,but he can't find the source of the cause.if you leave the hood open,it seems to be -OK--some heat problem?other than that ,the car is extremely reliable--can you HELP? Sincerely,Peter

Hi peter123. Welcome to the forum. Have you checked for diagnostic fault codes? Do you know how to do that with the ignition switch? Which engine do you have? Crankshaft position sensors often fail from heat.
