$4,000 bucks for a transmision, did i get ripped off?
I have 1999 dodge durango V8 4wd automautic. the transmision went out so i took it to a place. They took it apart then charged me $4,000 bucks to rebuild it. does this seem like a fare price?

THEY RIPPED YOU OFF YOU COULD HAVE BOUGHT A RECONDITIONED ONE FOR ABOUT 1900 INSTALLED OR ONE FROM A JUNKYARD FOR ABOUT 1500 1900 INSTALLED THE PARTS AND LABOR IS PROBLY RIGHT THEY SHOULD HAVE OFFERED YOU OTHER OPTIONS NOT A CONSUMER FRIENDLY PLACE I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE
