2001 Dodge Durango Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was wondering if an enginge for a 99 dodge durango would work for a 2001 dodge durango. My engine went out in my 01 and i call a "junk Yard" to see if they had a used one and they told me that the engine of a 99 would work for an 01. If you could please let me know if this is possible that would be great! Thanks

First, as a rule, we only recommend direct fit parts. However, the engine you are getting should work. You may have to switch the sensors, vacuum hose... from your old engine to the new one, but they should cross.
