Trans is not shifting, engine light is on and the error code is p0700. We have checked fuses and relays. I cannot figure out how to read codes off of the tcm. I have the snap on modis scanner but am not able to read it. Any ideas?

Hi there,

this code is a transmission control module malfunction, I would start looking at an ECU fault, you may be able to get a test unit to run in the car to prove the point one way or the other.
