1993 Dodge Daytona Car starts sometimes not at other times

Thanks for your time. I just bought a 1993 daytona es with automatic transmission. At times it starts right off and other times the starter turns but the engine doesnt even try to start. Also at times when it is running the engine will just stop. I have replaced the coil and that did not change anything. Do you perhaps have some idea of what the problem might be?
