My truck humms as you drive. The sound reminds me of off-road tires and goes away only on hard right turns. I put it on jack stands and in drive but couldn't hear anything. Checked the front tires and no luck. It's been like this for several months and somewhat annoying.I would appreciate any hints as to what would cause this.

Hi:
You have a wheel bearing problem on the right side. When you make a sharp right, you remove a lot of the vehicle's weight from the right side of the truck and the noise goes away and returns when the weight returns to that side.

If you have a way to safely lift the truck, check for play at each wheel (in / out / side to side) I believe you find on of the wheels on the right side of the truck has more than the others.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe
