My truck feels like it is stuck in one of the forward gears and I can't shift it into another gear or neutral even though I can move the shift lever into any position. It wants to pull forward when I let out the clutch no matter where the shift lever is, feels like trying to take off in 4th gear or something to that effect. This happened suddenly without warning. I was trying to back out of the driveway and discovered that it would not go into reverse.

If the clutch is all good and everything then you probably have transmissoin problem. There is no out side linkage to adjust so it is probable the fork lost its plastice sleeve at the end of it so it don't have enough range. I would take out the shifter first and look at the bottom of it and see if there is any obvious wear on it that would keep it from being able to shift from gear to gear. If it looks good then it is an internal problem so you need to decide weather you want to do this yourself or have a shop do it. I would check on a low mileage trans from a salvage yard to keep price down. Let me know how it goes.
