I have change the water pump two days ago, took it for a spin and it over heated. I change the thermostat and the truck was working good the next day, including a lot of heat. Today, it started to make a squeaking like the fan belt was dry or even too wet. I went to the store and bought some fan belt dressing and applied it on the belt. The sueaking stop a bite but it still there. I realise late during the day that the center of the a/c pump pully is no longer turning like it was before.

Can this be luibricated and how.

WHen you say the center of the compressor isn't spinning, do you mean the center (not where the belt rides)? If so, that will only lock in when the defroster or AC is used. Let me know if that is what you mean. As far as the overheating, you most likely had an air pocket that worked its way out. THat happens when you drain all of the coolant changing the waterpump. As far as the belt noise, the dressing usually doesn't help too much. Did the belt get coolant on it?

Let me know.
