This morning as I went to work I heard a noise from the front of my truck that sounded like a fan belt rubbing on an object. Also my truck would become unresponsive to acceleration. Like I had put it in neutral and it would just rev up.

I am scared it might be something with the transmiition.

Has the check engine light come on? Is the transmission fluid full and clean? Also, did you check under the hood to try to locate the noise?

Let me know.
