my gauges are not working. motor cranks

For a start, I'd check voltage circuits to and from the ignition switch, if you think the problems are related. Also if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If that checks out, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Let us know what you find.
