1999 Dodge Dakota Truck won't start

My 99 Dakota 5.2 will not start. Fuel pump is working and have fuel pressure. No spark to plugs, backtracked and no spark from coil. Swapped in a new coil still no spark, checked connector into bottom of the coil got voltage for a second then none. Checked fuses underhood all look OK. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

its the crank senser its on the trans bell housing real easy to do 2 bolts and its cheap

Yep I agree, the crankshaft sensor is the first thing I would replace which should fix it. Here is the location so you can swap it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
