Engine Performance problem
1997 Dodge Dakota V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

ran fine didn't drive it for a week and now it won't start unless you floor it and it won't stay running unless you keep your foot on the gas

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure or the filter to make sure it isn't plugging?

Actually, it sounds like a throttle position sensor, but I need to know if the light has come on.

the check engine light has not been on,i dought it is the fuel filter because it is located on the pump and is little more than a screen you said something about a throttled positioning sensor, where is that located at?
