Oil pan removal

How to remove oil pan?

See below: Sorry no diagram.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove oil dipstick.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then drain engine oil.
3. Remove front drive axle, exhaust crossover and transmission lower cover.
4. Remove oil pan and gasket.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Apply in corner of cap and block. Tighten attaching bolts to specifications.

Nobody says anything about the cross-member that is under the oil pan that cannot be removed.

There is room enough to get the pan out, you may need to pull a motor mount bolt and raise the engine some but it can be removed.
