My truck has had problems as of late-replaced the computer-worked fine for a month. Now it will not start-no click-nothing, lights, radio come on, but I notice the battery meter barely registers on the dashboard dial. I have a new battery, all terminals clean and good connection, checked all the visible fuses. Still nothing? Traced wires as best I could and don't observe any breaks. Could it be the alternator? Any help to what I should try next? Thank you in advance

Can you jump start it? If so, jump start it but leave the jumper cables on in for a few minutes after it starts to charge the battery. Then, remove the cables and use a DVOM and see exactly what the alternator is charging. If it's not 13.5 or better, then it more than likely needs replacing. Check the big cable on the back of the alternator first and make sure it's getting battery voltage.
