1994 Dodge Dakota engine stopped while driving and won't st

i was getting on to the free way and the engine stopped without a clink clank or a chug. i tried to start it but all it would do was turn over but no fire. i am stumped because usually you will hear something to give you an idea where the problem lies but this time no such thing.. i have no idea where to start looking. any ideas??

This isn't too much of a problem. What you need to start with is if the engine is getting spark and fuel. Based on your description, I would say you lost fuel pressure.

Here are the "How To's" for checking for spark and fuel. Check them and let me know what you find. If there is no spark, I will walk you through checking for codes. No tools are needed. If it is the fuel pump, I let you know the easiest way to replace it.
