Electrical problem
1992 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 168xxx miles

My headlights don't turn on with the switch and my overdrive button on the dash doesn't illuminate. I checked the #13 fuse and I have no power there I took the fuse out and its good.

I'm not a tech, but I just went through this same problem with my 89 Dakota. I would say that you have a burned out fuse link or an open in the big connector going through the fire wall. My problem was with the connector & I ended up running a new wire from the fuse link around the connector to the fuse panel. A is the connector..C is the fuse links

I got the lights to work. For some reason the light on the overdrive button doesn't light when I push it. The light over it works when I turn on the headlight switch. I don't understand why that light works but not the one telling me that I'm in overdrive or not.

Looks like you have a different problem then I had. I had no head lights, tail lights, horn, panel lights. I had my boat all hooked up & about to pull out of my driveway when everything quit. Didn't go fishing that day. Anyhow, good luck on your problem.
