1989 Dodge Dakota header gasket

1989 Dodge Dakota 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

im a rookie, just so we all know.
ok, it seeps - looks like oil? Around the bolts there, and smokes a little bit- cuz the oil is hot on a running enjine.
looks like I could take off that cover there, replace a gasket, I could seal that up so it would not seep and smoke.
this issue is off to the side of the motor. The round air filter sits on top.
i probably will end up asking someone who knows what they are doing. I am brave enough to see if I could figure it out and solve it myself. That would be great confidence booster if you all taught me!
