The truck died on the highway. All gauges went dead along with radio. I have headlights, emergency flashers, dome lights and AC blower. When you turn ignition switch, nothing. No panel lights, no starter, nothing. It won't take a jump, either. It was running fine and just lost all power, then would not re-start. Any suggestions?

Make sure the wiring harness to the computer is tight and clean. Also, make sure the battery terminals and the ground to the engine block are clean and tight. Finally, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. You should have 12 volts.

At this point, I'm not sure. My gut feeling is the ignition switch (not key and tumbler) may have gone bad. We just need to do some testing first.
