Shakes or Wobbles problem
1994 Dodge Colt 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 314000 Kms
----------------------------------------------------------------
My ride has a pesky vibration in the steering at hwy speeds. Not severe but irritating. In the last 18 months I have:
1) Had the rack & pinion rebuilt. A wheel alignment was done at this time as well.
2) New front brake pads & discs, rear checked.
3) Replaced 2 tires & had remaining 2 tires rebalanced - This lessened the vibration a bit.
4) Replaced a steering linkage & had the right-axle rebuilt to no effect.
These repairs were required & the old girl is still going strong so I am not sorry I spent the $ but each time a repair was done I was hoping it would cure the problem to no avail. And each time the mechanics say everything else in the front end is tight.
Any suggestions are greatly apreaciated
