Computer problem
1991 Dodge Colt 4 cyl

Engine trouble with my colt. Died while driving, will crank over, but not start. There is no fuel from injectors, but fuel to them. Changed the computer, still no fuel from injectors. Is there anything that tells the computer to fire? Any chance its hooked up tp the distributor? Anything will help, I need to get home, thanks.

Hi:
You may be getting fuel, but the pressure may be to low. You need to start with checking fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to video:

https://www.2carpros.com/dia/test_fuel_pressure.htm

As far as the gauge, many parts stores will rent them or you can purchase one at the test equipment store site on this page.

Let me know what you find.
