Engine Performance problem
1989 Dodge Colt 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
I had no fuel so I replaced the fuel pump and I now have fuel but still no start. I have spark, fuel and compression ( no test equipment but I feel compression with finger ). I have no check engine light. The vehicle will try to start with brake clean thru the throttle body but will not stay running. fuel rail has no test port so I don't know how to check fuel pressure to check regulator. Any help with this problem would be a great help.

Get a fuel presssure tester designed for your fuel system and give me the readings this is where we start. Also check if you're getting an injection pulses from the injector/s.
