1998 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L with A/C 240K Mles
Automatic Trans. No history of major repairs.
The Service Engine Light came on and the vehicle started idleing rough and stopped. We had it towed to the garage and using the diagnostic tool the tech said it showed coil A & C primary and secondary voltage failure. The shop replaced the coil, plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter. After driving it for about 300 miles the same thing occured. We took it back to the shop and they couyld not find any thing that would cause this, they cleared the fault and we drove away. We have driven it about 50 miles but do not feel that the problem was solved. I do not have a detailed manual, is there a resister or relay in the ignition system that could cause this?

The check engine light is it On or has flashed and disappeared again-if so get the computer scanned for code/s again.

If it comes up with the same code ( tech said it showed coil A & C primary and secondary voltage failure. ) they didn't do their job right.
