I have a 2002 Dodge grand caravan sport 76, 900 mileage 6 cylinder. I turned the car on and about 2 minutes later this light came on the book calls it the Malfuntion Indicator Light. Does this mean I have to change the gasoline filter? Or am I using the wrong gasoline? I have always filled up the tank with #87, should I change? Please help me out. Thank you

The MIL came On because the computer identified a problem/s with the engine management system. To actually know what's wrong you need the OBD2 system scanned for code/s. This is the starting point of diagnosis.

Go to the nearest autozone parts store and get it read for free and comeback with the code/s
