We own a 1997 Dodge Caravan with 150,000 miles. Some mornings, normally cool damp mornings, this problem occurs. We put in the key, turn the key, and won't crank over. Guages are on, battery is %100 good. I have replaced the transmission sensor as per another forums suggestion. After a period of time waiting, sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 3 hours the van will start right up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

have your ABS reset. you can do this with a scan tool. you had slammed on your brakes and activated your ABS and sometimes it causes it stick. have it reset and try that. if that doesnt fix the problem email me.

check your connections on your battery and make sure they're not loose and free from corrosion. if you still have a problem then, go underneath the vehicle and make sure all connections are tight on you starter check for corrosion also. have someone try to crank the vehicle while you tap on the starter with a hammer. if it tries to crank then you know its the starter. if you hear it click but not turn over then also look into replacing the starter. hope this helps.
