I have a 1997 Dodge Caravan 3.3L V-6 with 135000. A few weeks ago the fans quit working and the service engine light came on. Replaced the thermostat and thermostat sensor but that did not help. Checked the relays in the fuse box and they are fine. Replaced the fan control module and the fans came on, service engine light went off and it ran fine. 4 days later, fans quit working, service engine light on again. Took it to the shop and they told us replace the fans. Replaced the fans and service engine light went off, fans came on and worked fine. One week later, service engine light on again and fans not working. I have no idea where else to check and why they keep going out again. Help?

Since your check engine light is on your first step should be to run to a parts store and see if they will let you borrow their code scanner. Once you have the code come back and post it and that will help a great deal. At the moment nothing is coming to mind but the code would help. Good luck :)
