2003 Dodge Caravan van vibrates in reverse only/new brakes

I just had the engine mounting brackets replaced and the front brakes replaced. After driving around town the front brakes smell like burning rubber... is that normal for new brakes?

When the van is in reverse it vibrates terribly...what could be the cause??
