the heater/Ac blower would only run on high now it dosn,t run at all. would it be the control unit or other ???.

check blower motor relay and blower resistor pack first.

No, that would most likely be a bad blower resister. it's located in the blower housing, right next to the blower motor. That was your only problem up until the time when the last speed stopped. It may still be all that's wrong but it may have blown a fuse or something in addition from when that last speed went.
