The emergency brake peddle has a lot of travel and doesn't apply much pressure to the pads. I've traced the cabling from peddle to pad and cannot see any adjustment point. Is the adjustment at the pad? If not, where can I adjust the brake? All suggestions gratefully received.

If you have rear drum brakes, the e brake works off of the shoes and the adjustment is on the shoes, when you pull the drum you will see what I mean, if they are rear disc let me know and I will walk you in that direction

thanks

Jim,

Many thanks. They're drums so I'll take a look there.

Best regards

When the drum comes off you will see the adjuster wheel, some have a hole in the backing plate where you can do your adjustment there, you want to have the wheel do 1 soin and stop, they should not be bear tigh as you will burn the shoes up

thanks jim
