Im trying to get my van to pass smog , my check engine light is on . The code that comes up is po0455 big leak . I just had a tune up & oil change,put new vac hoses. I noticed this has happen to quite of few.I changed gas cap. Could u please tell me what it could be Thanx

It was probably a loose gas cap, or the van was fueled with the engine running, I just reset one of these and the light would not go out until I disconnected the negative battery cable for 30 minutes!

I already took battery cable of and new cap light stays off for about 2 hour comes back on.Someone
told me it could be the canister perge solenoid?

That would come up as a different number, some Chrysler products with 4 cylinder engines need a PCM reflash at the dealer yours might be one of them, the MIL needs to first be turned off be an OBDII scanner, then it will either shut off, of the scanner will show it is off, but the light will still be on, that's when the battery trick works...first try reset with a scanner...Purge codes are 443-443, 445, 446, and 447!

Your code is Gross leak detected, and either you have an evap system leak(large) or it was triggered by the cap. a large leak you should smell gas?
