can anyone give me some pointers, i have not been able to get my 2001 dodge caravan started since a winter ice storm at the end of january.. car sat for 2 days before i thought to go out and start it and it would not start, altho it ran perfect when parked 2 days before when it was 60 degrees.. we have put new fuel pump and filter on and new plugs and wires also checked all fuses, and the asd fuse all is fine. van will turn over but will not start. so where to turn to next should we change the coil pack or is there a sure fire way to check it to see if it is bad and will a coil pack from a 1998 model work on a 2001 model???? I just bought a chiltons manuel for a 2001 van but do not know where to look to troublesshoot my problem.

Disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
