2001 Dodge Caravan

I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan when I start the engine the left headlight comes on when I turn on the headlights the right ones comes on and the left one goes off......any ideas I found the fuse box under the hood but did not see anything for the headlights. Also is there another fuse box inside the caravan?

Yes there is a fuse box under the dash,drivers side. although i dont think that is the problem if both lights work at one time or another.your van should have daytime running lights.if it was me,i would check for loose wires,turn lights on,move headlight wires around to see if anything happens-sparks/lights flicker/turn on off ect.if that's not it my best guess would be the headlight switch on the dash is faulty.good luck
