Electrical problem
1999 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have an intermittant problem. The battery is fully charged and the posts are clean. The car will not always start. Usually first thing in the morning If you turn the key you may get nothing at all. It may click once or the starter may engage momentarily but not turn over enough to start the car. After a couple of trys and it will start. I doubt if it is battery related, but is it the starter, the ignition, the relay next to the battery? The computer codes all say Car is fine.

I put my money on the starter. You have bad spots in the starter brushes. It won't start at the "dead" spot. If you keep cranking, the starter shaft moves to a good spot and it will start until the shaft happens to stop at another "dead" spot.
