When turning the key, the van will start for a few seconds and die. the dash lights will not work nor will any of the gages.

I have had this van in the shop on and off for 2 years for this problem. battery has been replaced, air filter and 2 bcm's and other things. My mechanic said the diagnostic machine isn't showing any codes to help with the problem, he's at a loss. I've spent more money than the van is worth.

Where is the ADS? Is it in the fuse box under the hood?

They are a pretty cheap try at fixing it. Since the problem is intermittent, it will probably test good. I'd try it just to see

Jack, I've tried 3 different auto parts stores, they do not have one. Could this be a dealer only part?

Problem gages do not work! Any other tips for both problems.
