1997 Dodge Caravan Noises and Beackfire

i have a 1997 dodge caravan with about 186,00 miles. my car just shut off in the middle of the road and a dealership said that we needed to replace the camshaft sensor so i did. after i did that the car started shaking alot and the dealership said to change the sparks. we have changed that and when i turn the car on it like wants to backfire and when i put it in reverse or drive the engine starts to make a very weird noise. the dealership sais that they ont know can you help me?

Has all the symtoms of a timing chain that has jumped a few teeth...Check timing, put #1 cyl at TDC of compression stroke, the mark on the crank pulley should be on 0...? if its not, the engine is not timmed!
