I need advise on how to replace the drivers side axle shaft. (Bad CV joint) I have done Hondas but want whatever advise I can get. i,e. remove tire, remove caliper, remove hub etc. and any pitfalls to avoid. Thanks. Mike Walloch

P.S. I already have the NEW complete axle shaft in hand from the dealer. Thanks.

Hi
You can do Honda this will be childs play. Like you said caliper. ABS sensor if have. Tie rod end& lower ball joint. Turn wheel out as far as possible the remove cotter and nut then strike the boss area on spindle to release ball joint. Pull out on spindel /strut and push stub axle through hub. Then pry between inner CV and trans then remove axle.
Hope this helps
Thanks for donate
