Engine Cooling problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

ok, I have a 97 dodge grand caravan about 2 months ago well a couple days ago, "4/20/09"
it started running hot the radiator hose was pretty
hard so changed out the thermostat.I also notice the fan wasnt working because the fuse had blown out, well I replaced the fuse and every thing was
good at least for a couple days, the rad fan fuse blew out again, and of course the the car started runnig hot, I replaced it again, and 30 minutes later it blew out again and stared runing hot can any one tell me if I need to replace the fan motor or is it because the van is running hot the reason the rad fan fuse keeps blowing out

The fuse is blowing due to a short or overload either in the wiring to fan motor or the fan motor itself. Look for any damaged wiring to fan motor between radiator and engine. If wiring is good then suspect faulty fan motor.
