I just replaced the spark plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor as well a s the drive belts without any issues but then on start up there is a distinct ticking/clicking noise that is only noticeable after opening the hood. Didn't notice it before. Can't isolate where it's coming from. But i did use a long screwdriver to listen to the heads and the block but it'snnot coming from there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like one of the plug wires is arcing. What to do is this. When it is dark outside, start the engine and open the hood. I think you'll see a sparking from one of the plugs or the wires. IT will making a ticking / snapping sound.

Let me know what you fuind.
