1996 Dodge Caravan starter?

1996 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have to change the starter on a 1996 dodg caravan 3.3 litter, I can not locate it to even check it I have a chilton on my van but, the diagram dosent look anything like any part under the car, I know that I unhook the bataery neg. Got that far, but I can find the starter, do you have a photo fo where its located?

It's right in the front, just above the front engine mount. They develop worn solenoid contacts, then make just one loud clunk but don't crank the engine. New contacts are about $15.00.

You will need to recalibrate the air conditioning computer after disconnecting the battery. Come back for that information when you find the yellow leds flashing.
