I've had repairs done on the van to address the codes that came up before. Now, the engine light come on and after a few days goes off. It has gone dead while driving about 55mph about three times times over a month, but starts right back up. Otherwise seems to run fine. What can cause the engine light to go off all on its own?

Hi otter88, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on and get back with the codes we start here

I had it scanned when the light came on before and had the repair work done. Throttle placement sensor and 02 (I think that's what he called it) sensor. Last time it showed up with these same problem in the numbers so that's a mystery. The only other one was a 61 which had only been replaced last year.

61 is the baro sensor. Had that replaced little over a year ago. I'm going to have the codes done by another mechanic on Wednesday and I'll see what they say.

Thanks.
