I was driving last night I noticed that the temp gauge was higher then normal, I then noticed the gauge was pegged hot the van died and I tried to restart the engine but all it does is crank, I get this smell of a wire melting. I checked the motor, radiator, overflow jug and nothing was hotter then the normail temp. I had only been driving for about 10 min. in town. When I checked it this morning under the hood it smelled like burnt wire by the battery, checked the temp sending and didnt see any wires smoked. The motor crankes and does not fire. all gauges work and all lights work.
